Cyclamen persicum f. puniceum ‘Tilebarn Karpathos’

Leaves unremarkable for the species; flowers deep cerise with notably twisted petals, a very dark form selected by Peter Moore of Tile Barn Nursery (now closed) referable to forma puniceum.

Selected from a plant grown by John Blanchard’s father under the barely decipherable label ‘Karpat’ and subsequently developed by Peter. There was no other indication that the original plant came from the island of Karpathos.
