Cyclamen hederifolium 'Corfu Red'

Cyclamen hederifolium subsp. hederifolium ‘Corfu Red’

Strictly speaking not actually red according to the RHS colour chart, but a name coined by members of the Cyclamen Society to describe plants found in Corfu with the entire corolla lobe a dark pink/magenta/brick colour which stand out like a sore thumb against the swathes of normal pale pink flowered plants seen there. Hans Joschko was the first to mention them and used the name ‘Corfu Wine’ to describe them.
