



Cyclamen coum f. coum ‘Ashwood Hayden’
A new cultivar of C. coum registered on 18 January 2025 by Roy Skidmore. The original plants were select in 2022 from a batch of seedlings by Roy, and Hayden Wharton at Ashwood Nurseries near Kingswinford in the West Midlands in the United Kingdom.
Since 2022 the cultivar has been stabilised and now comes 75% true from seed. The pollen parent was a pewter leaved C. coum whilst the seed parent had no particular characteristics.
Description
Cyclamen coum ‘Ashwood Hayden’ has typical C. coum flowers that have a white ground with stripes or ripples of a pink/pale magenta colour. The petals are fimbriated and have a cherry red nose. The orbicular leaves are dark pewter with a dark green outer edge.
