The Cyclamen Society has started the dicussion list 'Cyclamen-L' which is hosted by One-List.

Cyclamen-L is an open discussion forum for anything to do with Cyclamen, but particularly their botany and horticulture. Topics will cover both the Cyclamen species, and the florists cultivars. The list is not exclusively confined to members of the Society, and membership is open to all on request.

If you are unfamiliar with discussion lists: The idea is that any member of the list can send emails to the list, which are then automatically sent out to all other members of the list. These may be questions that you would like answered, information you would like to share with other members, or answers to questions asked by others. You should only send emails that are 'on topic' - that is, they should be concerning Cyclamen!. Although the list is not moderated, since membership is on request, as Listowner, the Cyclamen Society reserves the right to terminate the membership of the list of anyone who repeatedly strays off-topic.

By doing this, you are simply requesting membership. Your membership should be approved by the Society within a couple of days (we will be as quick as we can, but we are merely volunteers!), and you will receive a 'standard' approval email from One-List. This will explain how you sent emails to the list, and how you can unsubscribe if you get fed up with us. Once you are a member, you will be able to view the Cyclamen-L archives.

Please remember that discussion lists are only interesting if members keep posting emails - so please join, and get typing!
